Easy going, fun and relaxed… I know its hard work to find a photographer you feel comfortable with. My job is to blend in and capture great shots of the day without any fuss. I feel fortunate to have clients as friends and friends as clients, and I pride myself in bridging the gap between the professional and the personal.
Definitely please do, the only exception is that images are not used for commercial gain, i.e. you can’t sell them. If you want to share them with your hairdresser, florist, the guy with the shiny big car that got you to the church, feel free, just let me know and I can discuss this with them.
The images will be sent to you edited and at hi-resolution with no water marks on so you can share as you wish. Facebook and other social media is absolutely fine too, in fact I like it, just tag me in!
I’m based in Altrincham, Cheshire, which is 20 mins from Manchester, but I’m available for weddings all over the UK. Travel within 50 miles is included, if your wedding is further than that I’ll charge standard travel expenses.
Yep I’m totally happy to do these. My style is more natural than posed but I always like a good confetti shot! I recommend you limit these to around 6-8 traditional groups. Don’t worry though, you don’t have to have traditional group shots, and it is not unheard of to not have any!
After the big day I’ll review all the images and edit them so you don’t get a load of duplicates or group shots with eyes closed etc. There is no limit to the number of shots I give you, but usually it is around 300 images, all of these will be hi-resolution and are totally yours to print or share as you wish.
Your images will usually be posted to you around 3 weeks after the day, however I always like to put a sneak peek on Facebook in the 1st week so you can stay in the wedding bubble and relive the big day.
No, I’m very happy to bring my own food and sneak off at the most ideal times. It’s really lovely when I’m asked to join you for dinner, but honestly that’s the time I like to review the pictures and back up to my computer.
I tend to have bookings up to a year ahead. As your chosen date gets closer, it can be more difficult to book in, but don’t panic if you’ve left it late. Just get in touch and I’ll be happy to check my availability.
Photoshop is an essential tool, but it can’t fix everything! Ideally, I will try and get the best shot possible at the moment I take the picture; if a rogue nephew is pulling a face in the background, I’ll normally ask to shoot again rather than trying to fix it later.
I ask for a £500 deposit to secure your wedding date, with the remaining balance being split into two payments, one due three months before the wedding and the final payment due 14 days before the big day.
